In Your Hip Pocket

The greatest difficulty in organ playing isn't anything obvious, like learning the touch, learning how to combine the stops, learning how to jump from manual to manual, or anything else.
It isn't pressing the right keys, working the machine, or even being a musician.
The greatest difficulty in organ playing is getting the left hand and feet to move independently.
Once you sit down to the keys and get the knack of it ... and it doesn't take long ... before you know it, the greatest difficulty soon will be tucked away, in your hip pocket.
